After years of yo-yo dieting, I switched to a whole food,  plant-based diet and it revolutionised my health. I founded my company, Plantalicious Ltd, to help others make the same positive change to a meat-reducer lifestyle.

We blend plant-proteins with wholefoods to make our products, home-made in small batches, straight from our kitchen to yours. More Than Meat burgers and casseroles are high-protein, zero-cholesterol meals, containing no added fats, no eggs, no dairy and, of course, no meat.



Online ordering is easy.  Our products are sent frozen by overnight courier on Thursdays to reach you on Friday mornings.

All of our products are lovingly handmade to provide the best possible taste.  We use only the finest “real” ingredients such as beans, oats, whole onions, garlic etc.,  We use natural ingredients to maxmise the flavours within our products rather than adding salt, fat and sugar.

Good for- The Planet!

There are a lot of people to feed on this planet we all share. By 2050, the world’s population will grow to more than 9 billion and our appetite for meat is likely to continue to grow along with it. The demand for meat will have doubled between 2000 and 2050.

Raising meat uses a huge amount of land and water and has a substantial environmental impact. We all need protein, but just increasing meat production is not the solution, as animals are not the most efficient mean to providing us with our protein requirements.

For example:
To produce 1kg of Beef requires:
150m2 of Land
15,0000 Litres of Water.
It also produces 27kg of CO2

In reality, there’s no way to produce enough meat for all of us, so what should we do? Some would advocate that we all become vegetarians or vegans, which many choose to do. Another way to address this is to simply lessen the impact that we have on our planet by choosing to consume a little less meat. This is where we come in. More Than Meat provides a healthy and sustainable alternative to meat, whether you are a vegetarian, vegan or a meat reducer. Our products require less land, less water and produce a fraction of the CO2 compared to meat.

Use of Palm Oil in our products

We think long and hard about all ingredients in our products. Palm oil is a concern for us for obvious environmental and sustainability reasons, however we use the ingredients we do to ensure our products are vegan and as flavoursome as possible.


Palm oil was in our stock powder, but we have recently replaced it with one that does not contain Palm Oil.  The old product stock containing the palm oil stock powder (which is a bouillon stock made by Marigold) will be fully replaced by February 2017. Palm Oil is also used in our vegan puff pastry sheets which are used for the sausage rolls. We have contacted General Mills who own Jus Roll and have got assurances about the sustainability of their Palm oil, plus they are a members of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil – see here: RSPO and General Mills


We will constantly monitor our suppliers and actively seek ingredients which do not contain Palm Oil but which still provide the same level of taste and texture.

We care about our customers and the planet and want our products to be made from the highest quality ingredients that as far as possible are sourced ethically and sustainably.


Good for – Animals!

We all love our animal companions. Britain is known globally as a nation of animal lovers, but what about those animals that are reared to provide us with food? Many who choose a plant-based lifestyle are passionate about preventing the exploitation of animals. Whilst we are not suggesting that everyone adopt a plant-based diet, reducing our reliance on animals as our main source of protein may also reduce the need for ever more intensive animal rearing.

Our desire for cheap plentiful protein can equally be fulfilled by simply eating more plants allowing animals to have a natural and fulfilling lifespan.
